The 1250 Maxum is the latest in the Kowalski 1250 range. It is fitted with Lithium Ion batteries which are much lighter in weight (both in and out of the water), give a much longer burn time and are easier to manage than its predecessors. This torch will totally replace both the 1250 Classic and the 1250 Speed during September 2008

The light output of the 1250 Maxum is identical to the Classic 1250 and the 1250 Speed, but the burn time is longer.

As with the other 1250 lamps, the Maxum can be used for all types of Video work. It is not recommended that it be used for too long out of water, as the heat generated is quite substantial.

This new lamp is much more reasonably transported in your hand luggage on a plane than any of its predecessors because it is dramatically lighter than any of them.
